As a businessman, Michael knows first hand what it means to grow and create jobs in our community. Too many businesses have been put under by out of control government regulations. Michael will fight to get government out of the way to allow our local economies to grow. He believes that by eliminating wasteful use of our state tax dollars, removing unnecessary regulations on our businesses, and through sound fiscal management of our state’s tax dollars we can create a strong state economy where Missouri families will thrive.

Michael O’Donnell knows the value of a good education. A product of public education, Michael will fight to fully-fund our local schools and ensure our teachers have the resources they need to provide our children with a world-class education. Michael believes that by providing practical, real-world training for our local students we can create the workforce for tomorrow’s jobs, today. Michael will work to restore local control to education and keep “one size fits all” programs like Common Core out of Missouri.

Safe Communities

Michael O’Donnell will ensure that Missouri’s first responders and law enforcement officers have the tools they need to keep our families and themselves safe. He believes those who commit crimes against our police deserve swift punishment to the fullest extent of the law.

Combating the Drug Epidemic

Michael O’Donnell believes there is a severe drug epidemic sweeping our local communities and our state. He will support efforts to combat the rise of heroin and opioid abuse while cracking down on those who provide drugs to our children. Michael will treat drug addiction like the public health issue it is and ensure resources are available to treat the addictions plaguing our region.

Michael O’Donnell believes all life is precious—he is 100% Pro-Life and will fight to defend life at all stages. As a veteran, Scout Leader, and outdoorsman Michael respects the role and heritage of firearms and will always support and defend the 2nd Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms.
